Weightless
I am inching towards the end of a very easy quarter of my life.
I finally got around to listening to “Weightless” by All Time Low, which, for you non-All Time Low fans, is their new song. Honestly, all I have to say is that Alex Gaskarth’s voice has progressively gotten higher and higher over the years, and he’s starting to sound like a chipmunk.
The song is alright. The chorus is insanely catchy, but I don’t actually like the rest of the song. I’m not frustrated or let down, though, because I am expecting their next album to suck. We’ll see.
However, I cannot wait to hear some new tunes by Mayday Parade. Derek and Jake have got me super excited to hear it—they definitely make it sound awesome. I am totally stoked !
And also, the movie Chocolat is insane ! I loved it—a real thought provoking film that had an indefinite ending, leaving room for even more thought. Aside from that, it is simply ridiculously beautiful and evokes all sorts of feelings. The relationships portrayed in the film were also very intense. By Chocolat, I mean the 1988 film about West Africa, not the one with Johnny Depp in it. The one with Johnny Depp in it has nothing good about it except for the music.
